Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards were given out on Tuesday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, the home of the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, to one of Tennessee’s commitments and two of the Vols’ in-state targets. Regardless of position, the top players in each classification in the state receive the honors.
Tennessee commitment of four stars Boo Carter, a Top247 athlete from Cleveland, Tennessee’s Bradley Central High School, won the Class 6A Mr. Football Award. He defeated two other athletes, one of the Vols’ newest in-state targets, Daune Morris of Oakland High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and quarterback Braden Graham of Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who is in the Class of 2024.
Carter, entering his senior season, transferred to Bradley Central this spring. He caught 78 passes for 1,245 yards and 16 touchdowns in addition to rushing for 362 yards and seven touchdowns. In addition, he returned kickoffs for touchdowns and two punt returns. He amassed 101 defensive tackles, including three sacks, six tackles for loss, and two interceptions.
Since choosing the Vols over Michigan in June, Carter has made Tennessee his home. He intends to enroll in January and take part in a few of Tennessee’s on-campus bowl practices this month.
Radarious Jackson, a wide receiver from Sheffield High School in Memphis, Tennessee, class of 2025, received the Class 3A Mr. Football Award after putting up incredible stats as a two-way standout this season. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Jackson ran for 782 yards, nine touchdowns, and an average of 11.8 yards per carry in addition to catching 30 catches for 696 yards and 13 touchdowns, averaging 23.2 yards per grab. In defense, he recorded 63 tackles and eight interceptions.
