Ustin Fields has been on fire the last two games for the Chicago Bears, but he appeared to get hurt on Sunday. What happened to Fields in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings
On Sunday, Fields seemed to injure his right hand on the Bears’ first third-quarter drive. Fields ran to the sideline cradling his right hand after being sacked by Vikings pass rusher Danielle Hunter.
The fourth-year quarterback then entered the blue medical tent on the Chicago sideline, where his ailment was probably assessed.
Fields ultimately made his way to the Bears’ locker room with a towel over his hand after spending time in the tent. He could be getting an X-ray of his wounded hand, speculatively.
Fields was initially listed as questionable to return due to a hand injury, but he has subsequently been ruled out.
Tyson Bagent, an undrafted rookie, is Chicago’s backup quarterback who entered the game with around eight minutes remaining in the third quarter. The Bears’ backup quarterback is veteran Nathan Peterman.
