Large days are nothing new for Marissa Powell and Kyle Van Noy. She was previously Miss Utah USA. He is a current linebacker in the NFL and a previous standout player at BYU. They are familiar with celebrity.
They are accustomed to pressure. They are familiar with spotlights. However, this momentous day? exclusive to them. In his hometown of Reno, following a triumphant BYU game, Kyle proposed to Marissa. After the game, the pair returned to his parents’ home for what Marissa assumed to be a dinner celebration.
Rather, she found herself surrounded by rose petals, candles, and her closest friends and family witnessing Kyle drop the question. According to Marissa, “it was a magical night.” “The ring and the victory are ours!” As a wedding planner, Marissa’s mother took the lead in assisting her in designing the ideal wedding day.
Marissa and Kyle were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, sporting an exquisite colour scheme of duck-egg blue, antique gold, ivory, and blush, in addition to an amazing custom-designed gown from Alta Moda Bridal. “Everything went perfectly today,” Marissa reports.
Kyle Van Noy, a rookie linebacker for the Detroit Lions, just got married and honoured his new employer during his wedding.
According to a photo that Van Noy retweeted, there was an ice sculpture at his wedding that looked like the Lions emblem.
The linebacker also shared a picture of himself dancing at the reception with his new bride.
In the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Van Noy was selected by the Lions.
Model Marissa Powell, the 2013 Miss Utah, is Van Noy’s new spouse.
