Rogers spent the whole 2022 season out of the game after being added to the Tigers’ 60-day injured list on April 6, 2022. In his major league comeback, Rogers platooned as catcher with Eric Haaase in the 2023 year. With 21 home runs and a batting average of.221 over his 107 games of 2023 action.

Rogers was promoted to the major leagues and his contract was selected by the Tigers on July 30, 2019. Rogers hit his first major league home run off Angels’ José Suárez in the following game on July 31. Rogers batted.125 with four home runs in 35 games for Detroit. The 2020 season saw Rogers not play for the Tigers.
