Vikings Legend Randy Moss Reveals Five Reasons He’s Better Than Jerry Rice

While most people feel that Jerry Rice is the best wide receiver in history, Randy Moss of the Minnesota Vikings holds a different opinion.

When the topic was brought up while Moss was a guest on Kevin Hart’s Cold As Balls show, he said that he was the greatest wide receiver in history.

Moss declared, “Without a doubt, I think of myself as the best wide receiver in game history.” “It wasn’t directed towards Jerry.” Jerry continued to show me love and respect. However, I was only thinking about how I could alter the football game.

Along with ranking himself, Rice, Terrell Owens, and Calvin Johnson as the all-time great wide receivers, Moss also unveiled his “Mount Rushmore” of wide receivers.

Although Rice’s statistical achievements have made him the greatest of all time, others believe that Moss is the most gifted pass-catcher to have ever set foot on a football field.

Moss attended Marshall during his college football career. The Vikings originally selected him with the 21st overall choice in the 1998 NFL Draft.

He immediately cemented his name among the top wide receivers in the league, leading the NFL with 17 receiving touchdowns to go along with 69 catches and 1,313 yards during his first campaign.

During his first seven years of play, Moss led the league in receiving touchdowns three times while he was in Minnesota. During his time with the Vikings, he was selected three times for the First Team All-Pro and made five visits to the Pro Bowl.

After that, the 46-year-old played for the Oakland Raiders for a few seasons before joining the New England Patriots, where in 2007 he set an NFL record with 23 receiving touchdowns.

Moss ranked first in receiving scores five times throughout his NFL career. Although he never had the most receiving yards in the league, he did record over 1,000 yards ten times. In 2003, his best distance was 1,632 yards.
