Michigan was in great shape going into game 11 versus Maryland. The Wolverines had only two players out due to injury, but one of them was starting LT La’Darius Henderson.

After the Wolverines defeated Maryland 31-24 on Saturday, acting head coach Sherrone Moore stated that Henderson will be back against Ohio State the following week.”LD [La’Darius Henderson] was working through something, he’ll be back next week,” Moore was quoted as saying.

Moore started Myles Hinton at left tackle in lieu of Henderson on Saturday. Hinton was having a fantastic time until he was wounded and appeared to be in a lot of agony when he was on the ground. He was able to stand up, but it appeared like he couldn’t put much pressure on his right knee.

Moore stated that Hinton’s knee had no structural damage. He is, however, confident in all of the O-linemen who may be called up. Moore moved Karsen Barnhart to LT and Trente Jones to RT when Hinton was injured.

“Myles got a little knee — ended up no structural damage or anything,” Moore told reporters. “There’s nothing out of the ordinary. Trente [Jones] and Karsen [Barnhart] and I knew at the start of the year that it would take 10 offensive linemen to win this thing and accomplish our goals. Trente went in and did an excellent job, so everyone is ready. There was no budget for who would go in; he’s a starting-caliber player, so I had complete faith in him when he went in.”

Hinton was not the only Michigan player to sustain an injury versus Maryland. J.J. McCarthy connected with his No. 1 target, Roman Wilson, for a 23-yard gain in the first quarter. But after a Maryland defender hit him high and was flagged for targeting (which was later overturned), Wilson headed to the medical tent and then the locker room. Wilson was observed on the sideline in street clothes after exiting the locker room.
Wilson was ruled out by the trainers, according to Coach Moore. However, it appears that Wilson was in high spirits and was content to stay on the sidelines with his teammates.
