The persistent recuperation of Aaron Rodgers from a completely ruptured left Achilles tendon appears to have motivated Kirk Cousins’ wife, the quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings.

The reason why his wife Julie is hoping for a February comeback from Cousins—who had surgery to repair a torn right Achilles he sustained in a game against the Packers in late October—was revealed by the cousins.

“I think Aaron [Rodgers’] injury was about eight weeks ahead of mine so that’s essentially two months,”

Speaking about the Jets quarterback, who tore his left Achilles just four snaps into the season opener in September, Cousins stated in an interview with ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

In response to a question regarding his own recuperation amid reports that the former league MVP would make a comeback this season, the four-time Pro Bowl quarterback mentioned Rodgers.

The injury to Cousins’ Achilles occurred during the fourth quarter of Minnesota’s 24-10 victory over the Packers at Lambeau Field on October 29.

Similar to Aaron Rodgers, quarterback Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings ended his season early due to an Achilles tendon tear in Week 8.

Despite Rodgers’ injury occurring in Week 1, there was a lot of talk about him maybe returning to the field in time for the playoffs.

Cousins stated that his wife, Julie, believes Rodgers can play this season after observing his excitement on a possible comeback.

Recently, cousins told NFL reporter Adam Schefter that his wife hopes to see him play in the Super Bowl this coming season.

“If Aaron recovers quickly and an additional eight weeks are added, my wife is hoping that I will be present at the Super Bowl.” This league is absurd.
