The offensive line could present significant challenges for the Cleveland Browns the next season.

The Browns may decide to cut offensive tackle Jedrick Willis this offseason after he sustained a season-ending injury in 2023. This would leave a significant hole in the team’s depth chart.

While there are those who believe Dawand Jones could simply switch to left tackle for Cleveland in 2024, that may not be the wisest course of action.

Most tackles would find it difficult to switch sides since it takes more than just moving from one side of the line to the other, according to former lineman John Greco.

Making that kind of change requires a great deal of strength and balance, not to mention the potential negative impact of muscle memory.

The greatest offensive line coach in the league, Bill Callahan, recently went to play for the Tennessee Titans alongside his son Brian, therefore the Browns will also be without him.

Deshaun Watson, the quarterback for Cleveland, needs to be covered in 2024, especially given his history of ailments and his high salary.

Going ahead, the Browns should place a lot of focus on the offensive line, especially if they’re prepared to give up, as they have also prioritized the running game more frequently than not.
