The Michigan football team may only have two games left in the 2023 campaign, but draft analysts are beginning to focus primarily on the NFL draft of 2024. This year’s Wolverines football team has a number of players who could be selected in the April draft.

One Michigan football player made the list of the top 50 prospects for the 2024 NFL draft, as determined by ESPN’s draft analyst Jordan Reid.

J.J. McCarthy, the lone Wolverine, made a full comeback at position 33. Reid’s thoughts on McCarthy and his ranking are presented here.

McCarthy, as we all know, is only a junior and might return to Ann Arbor for a second season. We have discussed in detail the possible factors that could influence McCarthy’s choice.

These are only a handful of the subjects that will be covered when Michigan’s season ends. For the time being, though, McCarthy can keep raising his draft status if he helps the Wolverines defeat Alabama on January 1 at the Rose Bowl.
