NBA insiders revealed that LeBron James was evicted from the club, The Athletic claim that the Los Angeles Lakers are “very open” to picking Bronny James in order to allow LeBron James to play with his son.
Bronny has chosen to forego his college eligibility in order to enter the 2024 NBA Draft. He has logged into the transfer portal as well.
Furthermore, according to Charania, Buha, and Amick, “team sources say the Lakers are very open to the prospect of helping LeBron fulfill his dream of playing with his son Bronny by potentially drafting him.”
Bronny shot 36.6% from the field, 26.7% from outside the arc, and 67.6% from the free-throw line while averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game for USC this season.
After the Lakers lost to the Denver Nuggets in five games in the 2024 playoffs opening round, LeBron can become an unrestricted free agent this summer if he chooses not to exercise his player option for 2024–25.
LeBron, who will turn 40 in December, might play in the NBA for two more seasons. For 2024–2025, he has a $51.4 million player option. LeBron would play through the 2026 All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles in two more seasons.
