TRADE NEWS: Vols signed one of the best QB on the transfer market with an interesting Caveat…

The NCAA Transfer Portal has seen a lot of discussion about the Tennessee Volunteers. The coaching staff is still working to keep the roster competitive for the upcoming season, even if they have lost a few players and added some important players. On Friday afternoon, though, they received information regarding a former player. Brandon Turnage, a defensive back, pledged to play for the Ole Miss Rebels. Earlier in the cycle, two of his former colleagues chose to join Ole Miss; however, they later switched to Louisville. Turnage, though, is from Oxford, Mississippi, so the temptation of competing in the SEC and staying local ultimately prevailed.

The Tennessee football team is currently in its offseason. After finishing the season, the Vols are concentrating on building their roster for 2023. With all of the most recent NFL Draft announcements and portal entries, Volunteer Country has the fans covered. The portal window is open from January 2 to December 4. Players will have to wait until May after spring practice to access the transfer portal if they do not transfer within that time.

Ole Miss is returning one of those who has travelled a tortuous path since leaving Oxford several years ago. Veteran defensive back Brandon Turnage of Tennessee revealed on Twitter on Friday night that he had committed to playing his senior year for Ole Miss in the Red and Blue. Turnage committed with Alabama following an impressive prep career at Oxford’s Lafayette High School, but he later transferred to Tennessee.

Turnage is expected to sign a non-exclusive contract (NIL) with the Grove Collective, enabling him to immediately join the Ole Miss squad.

During a 105-96 victory over Georgia on Saturday night, freshman Zvonimir Ivisic of Kentucky will always remember his fairy tale, which spans from “Once upon a time” to “Happily ever after.”

Neither will the thousands of dwarfs within Rupp Arena, and the countless others who watch from home, who are primarily Happy with a small percentage of Dopey and perhaps a few Grumpy dwarfs thrown in.

Big Z slept for a hundred days, just like Snow White did, while he awaited the lifting of the curse that barred the Croatian from playing college basketball in the United States. It was under the NCAA’s control, which may not have set up the spindle but undoubtedly allowed the curse to continue.

But Big Z was finally woken by a kiss on Saturday morning.

Ivisic stated, “It just appeared out of the blue.” “At first, I was in shock. Then, I started crying, and I just started jumping around in Coach’s office.”
