The Atlanta Braves are in an intriguing situation and appear to be nearing a rebuild. Despite this, the White Sox have nevertheless added several fascinating players this summer to provide the team greater depth.
Outfielder Kevin Pillar, formerly of the Toronto Blue Jays, San Francisco Giants, Boston Red Sox, Colorado Rockies, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Atlanta Braves, is allegedly the latest addition to the White Sox roster.

Prior to the 2020 COVID-19 season, Pillar signed a free agent contract with the Red Sox. Although he only made 30 appearances, Pillar made an impression and was later traded to the Rockies. Although he has since moved around, he played in 81 games for the Braves in 2023.
He gives the White Sox big-league potential while serving as outfield depth. With nine home runs and thirty-two RBIs during the previous season, he slashed.228/.248/.416 while playing all three outfield positions.
His chances of making the White Sox big league team are unknown, but it wouldn’t be shocking if he did. Chicago appears to be getting ready for a rebuild, and in 2024, a lot of young players probably will see action. Having an experienced player like Pillar on staff to assist in mentoring the younger players also doesn’t hurt.
