The phrase “Packers free agent target” isn’t one you’ll hear too much of this summer. For him, Green Bay is the ideal location.
Lawson would be able to establish himself as a pass rush specialist for a year with the Packers. He might regain the double digit million dollar deal range by focusing on clear-cut passing situations and third downs for a year, covering the void left by Kinglsey Enagbare’s ACL tear.
Jordan Fuller
Fuller is most likely not a low-key target and will be traded to Green Bay in several stories during the course of the upcoming month. Fuller can be the kind of rangy deep centerfielder at safety that the Packers haven’t seen since Nick Collins. Fuller spent a year at Ohio State playing for new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley of the Packers.
The Packers don’t precisely have a cornerback, but safety is a far greater need, and obtaining the deep safety is more crucial if the team intends to implement a plan with one box safety and one deep safety.
