The Green Bay Packers became the youngest team to qualify for the playoffs since the Buffalo Bills of 1974 with their victory over the Chicago Bears yesterday. This earned them a wild card position in the NFC.

Under Jordan Love’s direction, the Packers defied all expectations and made the playoffs in a rebuilding season that was meant to be more about growth than performance. You would expect that their opponents would take them more seriously as a result.

Conversely, when the Packers won 17–9, Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker showed them a great deal of disdain.

According to Mark Grote of WSCR Radio, Brisker stated that he has “no respect” for the Packers and that they are a team without any stars. He then went on to refer to them as “fake tough”.

Brisker’s remarks are embarrassing, despite the fact that each player is free to express their opinions and is not required to show consideration for other teams. The Bears once again finished the season in last place in the NFC North, and he has never defeated the Packers in his NFL career.

In addition, his club just lost to the Packers for the eighth time in a row in a game in which the Packers failed to punt once. Aaron Jones ran for 111 yards, Jayden Reed ran for 112 yards, and Dontayvion Wicks caught two touchdown passes. Love had a quarterback rating of 128.6. As it happens, Brisker is not very excellent at covering non-stars.

In his two outings versus Chicago this season, Jordan Love has amassed 563 yards, five touchdowns, zero interceptions, and a 129.4 passing rating. For a non-star, not too awful.

Talking trash is enjoyable. It gives rivals more incentive and a competitive edge. But if you do it right after a game where your team lost comfortably, it may make you appear like a bitter loser.

The Packers players clearly took advantage of the chance to attack Brisker and his absurd remarks. Preston Smith and Aaron Jones both made fun of Brisker on social media.

It never gets old to make fun of the Bears, especially since the Packers are still winning. But while the Bears and Brisker watch from the couch, Green Bay has bigger fish to fry when they play the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
