Tennessee transfer redshirt freshman offensive lineman Addison Nichols was intrigued by the coaches and the business opportunities available in the area during his official visit to Arkansas.

He described the trip as “great,” with the highlight being conversations with coach Sam Pittman and offensive line coach Eric Mateos .”It was extremely impressive,” Nichols remarked after leaving Fayetteville on Sunday. “This place taught me a lot more than I expected. There’s a lot to see. I had no idea there was so much development and activity in this area. Outside of football, the programme and the school are highly excellent. Coach Pittman and Coach Mateos are excellent people and coaches. They’re quite impressive.”

Nichols, 6-5 and 327 pounds, appeared in every regular-season game for the Vols in 2023 after appearing in two as a freshman in 2022. He can play both centre and guard.

Nichols, a corporate finance major, impressed by the firms in North-west Arkansas. I wasn’t expecting so many business and post-college options here,” Nichols remarked. “I had no idea Walmart had an office here.” The opportunities available through that are incredible.”

The Hogs appear to benefit from the Sam M. Walton School of Business.

“It was really good,” he commented. “Unfortunately, I didn’t get the full experience because it was graduation yesterday.” However, the people who went over there, gave us a tour, and explained everything did an excellent job. We didn’t get to see everything at the trading centre, but we did learn a lot about it, which was great.”

As a senior at Greater Atlanta Christian School in Georgia, he was rated as high as the No. 8 interior offensive lineman in the country and the No. 111 overall prospect in the country for the 2022 class.
