Famous wide receiver Chris Brazzell has committed to Tennessee, according to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports. The six-foot-five receiver, who was one of the most sought-after wide receivers in the College Football Transfer Portal, posted 711 yards and five touchdowns in his freshman year and will now wear Volunteer Orange.
Tennessee has performed well in one of the nation’s most competitive conferences, finishing third in the SEC East behind Georgia and Missouri. The Vols, who are ranked 25th, were good enough to earn a New Year’s bowl game.
The Vols are getting ready for the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl matchup with the Iowa Hawkeyes. The nation’s 20th-ranked Hawkeyes just suffered a setback to one of the top teams in the nation. Iowa was defeated by the top-ranked Michigan Wolverines in the Big 10 Championship game.
