The CFP semifinal between the top-ranked teams according to Pro Football Focus, the Michigan Wolverines (No. 1) and Alabama Crimson Tide (No. 4), is sure to be memorable.

This year, the Crimson Tide finished 12-1; their lone defeat came in the second week of play against Texas. They bounced back to win their next 11 games, which included an SEC Championship victory over then-No. 1 Georgia by a slim margin of 27–24. Their total rating of 94.6 places them second only to Michigan according to PFF.

Michigan: 90.2
The quarterback for Alabama this season, Jalen Milroe, is a sophomore who amassed 2,718 passing yards, 468 rushing yards, and 35 total touchdowns. He finished sixth in the Heisman voting. According to PFF’s aggregate, this unit and Michigan’s are almost identical, with only one point separating them.
