Head coach Sherrone Moore of Michigan is unconcerned about his rival being crowned a paper champion, even though Ohio State has assembled one of the best recruiting classes in the nation going into the 2024 campaign.
For a brief moment on Saturday during Michigan vs. Michigan State, Moore joined the FOX broadcast booth. Play-by-play commentator Gus Johnson questioned Moore about his opinions on Ohio State’s successful offseason, among other things. Moore answered this question. Moore’s answer was quite straightforward.
In terms of recruiting classes for 2024, 247 Sports currently ranks Ohio State as the fifth best in the nation. Michigan comes in 16th. In addition to 14 4-star prospects, the Buckeyes have recruited four 5-star players.
It appears that Moore, as a coach, is committed to carrying on Michigan’s recent winning streak over Ohio State. Despite Jim Harbaugh’s coaching, Michigan has emerged victorious in the last three meetings. Moore will need to continue doing so even during the significant offseason for the Buckeyes.
