Owner of the Detroit Lions, Sheila Hamp, sent a letter to season ticket holders expressing gratitude for their support throughout the 2023 campaign.

“Three years ago, when I took on this position, I envisioned long-term success. This season’s success is a direct result of that ambition. It’s time to start establishing late-January football as a regular event in Detroit. The future of the Detroit Lions looks brighter than it has ever been because to Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell, who we personally hand-picked for this task,” Hamp added. “I said in January of ’21 that we had found the right people to lead this organisation and I believe it even more today.”

The team has turned into one of the NFL’s hottest teams after voting for Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes last season. They haven’t lost back-to-back games all season long in 2023.

“The harsh reality of success is that you don’t necessarily see the end coming, and it hits you hard when it arrives,” Hamp said. “We are experiencing it right now, but don’t let that take away from the joy we experienced and the achievement we merited. At the end of the year, only one team gets to rejoice, therefore we want to position ourselves such that it will be us.”

“My family and I would like to personally thank you for your support during this season. We appreciate you representing the Lions with pride at work, school, Ford Field and ten other NFL stadiums. Nothing we do matters if you’re not at our games, watch parties, or in your living room,” stated Hamp. “Players and fans have always been the foundation of this league, and I am incredibly proud of the players and supporters who represent the Lions. About 175 days from now, training camp will begin, and I can’t wait.”
