The large number of penalties that were called against the Seahawks infuriated a lot of their supporters. By no means was the heavy-handed yellow-handkerchief situation unfair, though. The Seahawks were penalized for 130 yards, and the Cowboys for 127 yards.In a video that Fox 13 Seattle’s Alyssa Carroll posted, Carroll stated that the league needed to quit calling so many penalties following the game.
It’s regrettable, Carroll remarked. “This game seems to involve an entirely new element.” I’m not sure. We need to stop playing football like that. You guys witnessed it far better than I did, but there were simply way too many penalties on both sides in this game.
As head coach, Carroll ought to be irritated about the way the games are being called. Penalties have an impact on close games, which might be the difference between a coach’s dismissal at the end of the season.
There is also reason for fans to be dissatisfied with the large number of penalties. They make it difficult to watch football and interfere with the game’s flow. It’s the athletes on the field that fans want to see.
Naturally, the simplest way for it to occur is for the players to perform well on the field and avoid getting into any penalties. It might require additional practice.
