Over the course of four seasons, he also gained 94 yards and one touchdown through rushes.
Aaron Wilson reports that the Commanders will work out with veteran wide receiver Martavis Bryant on Wednesday. Bryant is a free agent.
Bryant was released by the Cowboys last week, and it was reported that other clubs were interested in the receiver. Washington represents the first known interest in Bryant following his parole.
Bryant, 32, was a 2014 fourth-round selection of the Steelers. Prior to the 2018 season, he was traded to the Raiders following three years of service in Pittsburgh.
After the preseason, the Raiders cut Bryant, only to re-sign him a few weeks later. He completed the last year of his $2.7 million, four-year rookie contract before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2019.
Bryant’s drug misuse infractions have resulted in several suspensions. In 2021, he signed a contract with the Canadian Football League’s Toronto Argonauts.
Bryant most recently played in the XFL. He also joined the Indoor Football League’s Massachusetts Pirates.
He was first added to the Cowboys practice squad in November, and in January, they signed him again to a futures contract.
