The Arizona Cardinals returned to practice on Wednesday following a bye week, but the injury report for their Week 15 game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday remained full.
The only two players who did not participate were wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) and tight end Geoff Swaim (back). Wide receiver Michael Wilson was limited due to a neck injury after not practicing since Week 11 in preparation for Arizona’s game against the Houston Texans. The rookie had 435 receiving yards in his first nine games and would be another weapon on Sunday.
With a groyne ailment, cornerback Antonio Hamilton Sr. was also hampered. Hamilton has been absent from the last two games.
Quarterback Kyler Murray was listed as having a thumb injury on the report, but this did not prevent him from playing on Wednesday.
The 49ers are fresh off a 28-16 victory against the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday.
Arik Armstead, the team’s longtime starting defensive tackle, did not play in the victory and remained out of practice Wednesday with a foot/knee ailment. Along with linebacker Dre Greenlaw and nose tackle Javon Hargrave, he was one of five 49ers defensive starters to leave practice.
