BOCA RATON The Miami Heat’s week-long training camp at Florida Atlantic University is scheduled to conclude on Saturday. Jaime Jaquez Jr., a rookie, has received positive early assessments. Heat centre Bam Adebayo responded, “How skilled he is,” when asked what his initial thoughts were on Jaquez. “You would assume a man that size would have to get used to the NBA style of play after graduating from college. But with all of the work we’ve done in the summer and off-season, he’s demonstrating that he can guide a team to victory. Things like that matter when you’re on the court trying to succeed, even though it’s just pick-up.
