Recruiting Roundup: Michigan football recruiting roundup 2024 & 2025 top targets

The Michigan Wolverines are hoping to round up their 2024 recruiting class with another pledge before tomorrow’s early signing day. The Wolverines are looking for a signing day surprise, similar to CB Jyaire Hill’s pledge last cycle.

The Maryland 2024 four-star has yet to decide where he wants to play at the next level. He finished his recruitment with a flurry of visits.

The Wolverines entered the race late, offering him last month, but it appears they are in an excellent position to land the state’s No. 9 ranked athlete. Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider predicted the Wolverines, and EJ Holland and Zach Libby of The Wolverine predicted them as well late last week.

Last week, Jeese Minter, Mike Elston, and Dylan Roney paid Edokpayi an in-home visit, and he had nothing but positive things to say about his trip to Holland.

“It was good,” Edokpayi commented. “It was great to meet them in person, and my parents were able to ask all of the pertinent questions.” They discussed their academic programme, how they are the top public school in the country, and how they are academically equivalent to the Ivy League. It was more on the culture and how they are a blue blood programme in the football piece. They discussed defence and how their defence works.”

Edokpayi has the size and athleticism of a Michigan edge rusher and would be a great addition to the class. His commitment will be something to watch ahead of tomorrow’s signing day.
