RECRUITING!!: Four-star tight end Jack VanDorselaer commits to Tennessee

Now that the class of 2024 has essentially concluded, programmes are starting to move full speed ahead for the next group (s). Work on the 2025 class has obviously already begun in earnest, as seen by Tennessee’s decision to reject four-star tight end Jack VanDorselaer’s early pledge.
The 6-4, 225-pound tight end made Tennessee his team of choice on Sunday afternoon, turning down offers from USC, Alabama, LSU, Texas, and other schools.

VanDorselaer is the 190th-ranked recruit in the class of 2025, per 247Sports. Coming from the loaded state of Texas, he is the 11th-ranked tight end in the class. At Southlake Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas, VanDorselaer will begin his senior year in the autumn.
About a year ago, on VanDorselaer’s first visit to the school, Tennessee made him an offer. He came back in the fall to watch Tennessee’s September 30th victory over South Carolina.

The loss of McCallan Castles and Jacob Warren this offseason has forced the Volunteers to overhaul the tight end position. Holden Staes, a transfer from Notre Dame, was a huge grab out of the portal, but former four-star recruit Ethan Davis is anticipated to step up. Cole Harrison, a three-star prospect, was also signed by Tennessee.

The Rose Bowl is a special occasion. Among the most esteemed bowl games in college football history is this one. Fans and members of the media have referred to the game as “The Grandaddiest of them All” for years. The 2018 meeting between the Georgia Bulldogs, ranked third, and the Oklahoma Sooners, rated second, more than lived up to the hype. This playoff matchup, which had a chance to go to the national championship, was intense from beginning to end. There was no greater contrast between the two teams. The game featured jaw-dropping plays, absurd lead changes, and crucial mistakes due to Georgia’s suffocating defence and Oklahoma’s fast-paced offence, concluding in an thrilling shootout that needed more time to decide the victor. With the score tied at 48 all after double overtime, Georgia was in a great position to win and go to the playoffs. What makes this game so unique is the lunacy that existed before everything else. So let’s go back and see how we got there.
