After being fired by the Eagles, Sean Desai is moving west and joining Sean McVay’s Rams as a senior defensive assistant.
Desai will play an important position in Chris Shula’s lineup, who took over for Raheem Morris after the latter was hired as head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
In Week 5 against the Rams, Philadelphia’s defence sacked quarterback Matthew Stafford four times and limited the Los Angeles Rams to less than 60 yards of rushing, which was one of Desai’s best games as a defensive coordinator.
In the victory, All-Pro pass rusher Haason Reddick recorded two stops, two stops for loss, two sacks, and two quarterback hits.
