Ollie Watkins Files Divorce Against Wife To Dissolve 5 Years Marriage For Allegedly Involving In Aston Villa is aware of Wilfried Ndidi, a midfielder for Leicester City, and his apparent transfer position.
Ndidi just achieved promotion with Leicester to the Premier League following his Championship victory. Despite the team’s relegation, the 27-year-old stayed and made 32 appearances, tallying four goals and five assists.
However, his contract expires this summer, so his time in the East Midlands may be coming to an end. LeicestershireLive has revealed that it is currently unknown if the FA 2021 FA Cup winner will be offered a new contract.
“It feels good to be back in the Premier League after being demoted, but we really don’t want to struggle to get back there again,” Ndidi said to Complete Sports.
“I believe there is a lot of optimism and high expectations, but we need to make sure we don’t go back to the Championship.” It’s not an easy location to play.
“I won’t mind trying my luck elsewhere if a good opportunity arises, but for now I’m a Leicester City player.”
Villa would have signed a Foxes midfield player for nothing for the second summer in a row. Following the Belgian’s success in the West Midlands, Villa may be expecting to duplicate the feat. Youri Tielemans joined last summer following the expiration of his contract at the King Power Arena.
Villa has been connected to several Leicester players besides Ndidi. Villa is also reportedly interested in his fellow Nigerian, Kelechi Iheanacho, and sporting director Monchi is rumored to have spoken with his representation. Like Ndidi, Iheanacho is unattached and coveted by Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, Besiktas, and Everton.
