Netane Muti, an offensive lineman, has signed a futures contract with the Detroit Lions that runs through the 2024 season.

Players will be able to fight for roster slots during summer workouts and training camp thanks to futures deals, which are basically camp invites.

The Broncos selected Muti, 24, out of Fresno State in the sixth round of the 2020 draft. He and Denver agreed to a $3,500,792 four-year contract with a $205,792 guarantee.

After training camp in 2022, Muti was waived by the Broncos but was later added to their practice squad. Before the Raiders decided to sign Muti off of Denver’s practice squad back in December, he was on and off the active roster for a while with the Broncos.

He was re-signed by Las Vegas for the 2023 campaign, however during training camp, he was waived and added to the practice squad, where he played for the majority of the year.
