LeBron may decline his $51.4 million 2024–25 player option to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

According to Buha, “The Lakers are willing to offer James any kind of contract he wants this season.” The NBA’s all-time leading scorer is anticipated to play for up to two more seasons, according to league sources who spoke with The Athletic.
