Jordan Greenway is anticipated to make a comeback to the starting lineup when the Buffalo Sabres play the St. Louis Blues on Thursday, according to the team.
Since Greenway’s comeback necessitated sending a player down, Buffalo decided to send rookie Jiri Kulich down to the AHL. Isak Rosen, another rookie, now has a firm place in the lineup going forward, while Brandon Biro’s recent recall adds more depth.
Greenway has been out of commission for a week for personal reasons. This season, he has participated in 19 games and scored two goals and six points. In addition, he has 19 penalty minutes, which places him fourth on the Sabres roster. Having joined the organization via trade in the middle of the previous campaign, Greenway is in his first full season with the Sabres. Prior to this, Greenway played for the Minnesota Wild for six seasons, amassing 317 games, 119 points, and 227 penalty minutes during that time.
