In St. Johns, Lions supporters displaying their Honolulu blue pride…………

Michigan’s Clinton County (WILX) – Michiganders are still feeling great about their triumph from last Sunday. Fans from all over the state are coming together for watch parties being hosted by a number of pubs and eateries.

The Lions’ fan base extends all the way to St. John, Michigan, from Detroit. Hopes for another Lions victory and a trip to the Super Bowl are high among the crowd at Ryan’s Roadhouse.

Zach Colthrop, a Lions fan, said he was “really excited actually, I been waiting for it my whole life.”

“Lions advance to the Super Bowl and win,” supporter Towanda Mills remarked.

A supporter named Bob Marshall declared, “It’s time for the Lions to have a celebration; it’s getting too big for the entire state.”

Ryan’s has been bringing fans together for Lions watch parties every Sunday for the past few weeks. Sunday’s watch party, according to owner Ryan Colthrop, will be amazing.

Colthrop stated, “Every table in the dining room and around the bar is reserved; not all of them, but pretty close, and the bar will be packed.”

On Sunday morning, a few supporters of the squad were having brunch at Ryan’s, and they couldn’t be more encouraging. Bob Marshall claims that despite the odds, this season is important not just for Detroit but also for the whole state of Michigan and the supporters.

“No matter what, the fans have remained true.” The fans persisted even after we had a zero and thirteen season, according to Marshall.

California native Jeffrey Mills, along with his wife Towanda, has even donned Lions clothing and is rooting for the club to win everything.

“I’ll be rooting for Detroit tonight because they’ve never won a Super Bowl and San Francisco already has some championships.”

Colthorp claims that Ryan’s will be serving its own lion’s Kool-Aid until the Super Bowl, and that the supporters will be cheering all the way to the finish.

When asked what advice she would give the team, Towanda Mills replied, “Be positive, play hard, and be safe.”

At Ryan’s, other supporters yelled, “Go Lions!”
