Goodnews: Tyron Smith Shockingly Returns To Practice

Tyron Smith, a left tackle for the Cowboys, was limited during his first practice since December 15 and is listed as questionable to play against the Lions on Saturday night. Smith missed four games this season and 37 total since the start of 2020 due to injuries to his neck, ankle, hamstring, knee, and now back.

Since 2015, he has not played a full season due to injuries to his neck, ankle, knee, or back. His backup, Chuma Edoga, was added to the practice report on Wednesday due to a toe injury that limited him; however, Edoga returned to a full practice on Thursday and has no designation.

Running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) and defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins (ankle/knee) were declared out by the Cowboys. Hankins will miss the game for the third straight because of a high ankle injury.

Viliami Fehoko, a defensive end, has a problematic knee. In order for him to play on Saturday, the Cowboys will need to activate him back into the active roster as he is still on injured reserve.
