good news:The Cubs’ 2024 spring training cap is something you must see…….

You must observe The 2024 spring training cap for the Cubs first surfaced on NBC Sports Chicago.

Although MLB has not yet formally announced any 2024 spring training gear, a few things, including the Cubs’ new spring training caps, started to show up on MLB Canada’s website shop last week.

For spring training, Cubs pitchers and catchers will report to Mesa, Arizona on February 14. The entire team will show up on February 19.

On February 23 at Sloan Park, the Cubs play the White Sox in the first game of their Cactus League schedule.

Originally broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia, Hoskins expressed gratitude for the Phillies’ candour towards him throughout his free agency period.

The Phillies’ offseason plan was set in motion when they decided early in November to use Bryce Harper at first base going forward.

Rhys Hoskins, who had recently become a free agent after being selected by the Philadelphia Phillies ten years earlier, was promptly informed of the strategy.

Even though it wasn’t the kind of future Hoskins had imagined for himself even a year before, he was glad to get the chat with Dave Dombrowski over with as soon as possible. It gave him the opportunity to imagine what the upcoming months and years would hold.

In a Zoom press conference on Monday, Hoskins was presented by the Brewers and said, “They were upfront with me at the start of the offseason which was probably a good thing for me, emotionally, getting a little closure after a weird year and moving on to whatever was next.”

“I’m really appreciative of his openness and that he told me straight away whatever direction they were going to take. Because of that, I was able to start the offseason strongly.”

If not for three significant events, the Phillies could have been able to keep their relationship with Hoskins longer. They adore him as a person and as a player. After 2022, Harper needed Tommy John surgery, therefore right field was not a viable option.

Hoskins was out of the lineup, unless the Phillies put him in as the designated hitter and sent Schwarber back to left field. When Johan Rojas took over centre field, Brandon Marsh moved to left field, and Schwarber played designated hitter, they made their biggest stride forward in 2023. The Phillies’ offence would have benefited greatly by the return of Hoskins, but it would have been more than offset by the defensive decline at several positions.

So they said their goodbyes. Hoskins and Milwaukee agreed to a $34 million, two-year contract. In 2024, he is expected to make $12 million, and in 2025, $18 million. He has the option to opt out of the second year of the contract, in which case the Brewers would have to pay $4 million.

After missing an entire season, it’s not a bad compromise for Hoskins, but it’s also not a large multi-year contract. He receives two years of security and the option to test free agency again in a year if he does well enough in 2024 to position himself for yet another lucrative contract.

“I had heard so much about free agency and the privileges to get there, but it was a bit different not playing in that platform year,” said the player. “That was going to be an incredible year to be on a team primed to win, especially with the momentum we were able to create in Philadelphia. All that needed to happen was a slight reduction in expectations. Milwaukee was a fantastic fit for a publication.

Hoskins will probably bat second or fourth for a Brewers lineup that might be in the bottom half of the league. There aren’t many players that can intimidate an opposing pitching staff outside Cristian Yelich, Hoskins, Willy Adames, and William Contreras. Hoskins looks like a good bet to lead this team in RBI and home runs if he plays the entire season.

Although he anticipates the Brewers to take their time with him throughout spring training, he is eager to get back on the field.

“I’m sure I’ll be eased back in because it’s been a year or so since I’ve been on the pitch, but I really should have little to no limitations once games start,” he stated. “I’m excited to receive

There’s little doubt that Hoskins will receive standing ovations during the Phillies’ series against the Brewers, which takes place at Citizens Bank Park from June 3–5. While his time here wasn’t without its challenges, he served as a prime example of the Phillies’ transformation from a rebuilding team to a contender in the National League. He led the National League in walks one year, had two seasons with 30 home runs, and led the Phillies to one of their most famous drives ever against Spencer Strider in the 2022 NLDS.

“When my family and I moved to Philadelphia in 2017, the residents welcomed us with open arms. Connecting just seemed quite simple,” he remarked. “I have a tonne of amazing stuff to share and

“Hopefully, we’ll leave the community with some kind of enduring effect. And some of those were the ones we managed to create while attempting to get there throughout the postseason run. For every city, winning a championship and qualifying for the postseason is a cause for pride and celebration.

“I hope I’ll always be able to call Philly home.”
