Montgomrey Whitewater announces performances and events for 2024………
Chief Executive Officer Dvea Hepp stated, “We are appreciative of the wonderful reception Montgomery Whitewater Park has received since our grand opening last summer and are looking forward to having the community and visitors back this year.” “We are a top destination for anyone who enjoys the outdoors, from the Olympic Trials to peaceful evening happy hours on the patio.”
Live music under the stars will be provided by renowned guitarist Brian Hinton, who will host singers, songwriters, and performers on the heated patio.
Through its collaboration with the Nantahala Racing Club, the park introduces Montgomery to a long-standing paddler culture. Athletes competing in the intermediate to expert slalom categories are welcome, and the best whitewater athletes in the nation, including Olympians and World Champions, will be there. There will be live musical performances in addition to the tournament, which takes place every day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A fun-filled celebration of St. Patrick’s Day will open the outdoor spring season. It will feature a 5K, a kids’ Leprechaun Chaser fun run, and the inaugural performance of the Get Down Concert Series. When the whitewater course turns shamrock green, attendees will be in for a very lucky gift.
