Joakim Dodson Provides Updates on Recruiting, With Schools Seeking Him…….

Joakim Dodson (Collierville, Tenn.), a 2025 three-star wide receiver, is a potential early target for the Tennessee Volunteers and has improved his rapport with the coaching staff.

The Tennessee coaching staff has prioritised in-state 2025 wide receiver Joakim Dodson early on. On June 4, 2022, he attended a Tennessee camp for the first time. After that, he made an unauthorised visit to attend the Alabama game in 2022. The Vols made him an offer later in January 2023. After that, he went to camp, a junior day, and another unofficial visit for the Texas A&M game. Dodson just spoke with me about his recruitment. He said, “It hasn’t gotten too hectic yet; it’s been smooth so far,” in response to a question about his hiring procedure. So far in the process, I’ve received regular updates from Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Tennessee, and Missouri.” Dodson has previously mentioned how Tennessee made him feel important. Yes, it’s true that I feel important. I speak with a member of the staff nearly every day, and I get along well with everyone. During the December contact time, Coach Heupel visited my school and told me that they wanted me to go to Rocky Top “Dodson says.

He continues by mentioning the other universities that are putting him first, adding, “Yeah, I hear from Missouri and Cincinnati quite a bit, and they’re always staying in touch with me. I get along well with every member of the Missouri staff, and I was made to feel important during my visit there in early October. Coach Drink also visited my school in December during the contact period. Regarding Cincinnati, I get along well with the offensive coordinator, Coach Glenn,

and since it’s a first-year staff member, I want to continue growing that relationship. Additionally, I’ve been in contact with Mississippi State’s new staff, and I’m fairly certain that I’ll be visiting for a junior day in January.”

He was asked if he intended to visit a Tennessee junior day since he brought up junior days. All the wideout could say was “Yes.” February third. The in-state candidate then discusses the future and whether closing schools is likely in the near future. The wide receiver from Collierville next said, “Yeah, I want to take as much time as possible, so I won’t be cutting down my list any time soon because I think it could be some new schools that get in the mix in the January contact period.”Joakim Dodson, Collierville - Prep Redzone

He says, “Really good,” when delving more into his relationship with the Tennessee staff and, in particular, with Josh Heupel, the head coach, and wide receivers coach Kelsey Pope. They all have excellent relationships with my family and are frequently checking in on me. I probably talk to each of them every other day.” At last, he was asked if any commits or recruits had been working hard to get him accepted. He replies, “My quarterback, Aidan Glover, who’s signed to Missouri, has been pushing hard for me.”
