Ben DiNucci would start at quarterback and Jarrett Stidham would start if the Denver Broncos had to play football tomorrow. The majority of rational Broncos supporters pucker slightly just thinking about it.
Does Sean Payton have the same sentiments, one may wonder? When the Broncos signed the young journeyman backup last year, he hyped up Stidham, touting his qualities as a starting quarterback and all that, but when it came down to it, and Payton started him in the starting lineup to close the season, it was the height of replacement-level quarterbacking.
