Former Ohio State quarterback hired to be Wisconsin’s wide receivers coach

Columbus, Ohio — Numerous sources indicate that former Ohio State quarterback Kenny Guiton will be seeing his former coach again.

Guiton, who has been the wide receivers coach for the Wisconsin Badgers for the past three years, is leaving Arkansas. He will be joining a coaching team headed by Luke Fickell, an ex-Buckeye who served as Guiton’s assistant coach during his entire tenure at Ohio State (2009–2013). In 2011, Fickell was also the head coach of Guiton.

Mike Brown, who resigned to take a position coaching Notre Dame’s wide outs, is being replaced by Guiton.

The former quarterback for Ohio State has worked as a coach for Louisiana Tech, Houston, Colorado State, and Arkansas. He most recently served as the Razorbacks’ temporary offensive coordinator in 2023.

During his time at Ohio State, Guiton amassed a massive fan base with his 89 for 134 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions.
