When Ohio State football takes on the Missouri Tigers in the Cotton Bowl on Friday, the Buckeyes will aim to win 12 games this season. Marvin Harrison Jr., their outstanding wide receiver, was there and wearing his jersey on Tuesday, but he did not practice. It is possible that he is not with them.

During practice, Harrison was using an exercise bike and worked off to the side. He might not be ready to take the field with the Buckeyes when Ohio State plays its final game of the season in three days.

Harrison, who is most likely in his final year at Ohio State, had a fantastic junior season with the Buckeyes. With the exception of two games, he scored 14 touchdowns overall in addition to 1,211 receiving yards. In 2023, he exceeded 100 yards in eight games, compared to seven the previous year.

The question of whether Harrison will enter the NFL Draft or try to run it back with Ohio State is a hot topic of discussion. If he enters the draft the next year, he is unlikely to be chosen outside of the top five, but one more season at Ohio State will allow him to become a college football legend.

Harrison doesn’t have much time to make a decision, so it would probably be best to forego playing on Friday and call it a career for the Ohio State football team. Why would he take a chance on being a surefire top-five pick for a second collegiate season?
