Isaiah Hodgins, a receiver, has been added to the New York Giants’ Week 16 injury report. Hodgins has a medical condition noted. With 17 receptions for 176 yards and three touchdowns, Hodgins is one score short of teammate Saquon Barkley’s four receiving touchdowns.
Additionally limited are defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson (back), tight end Lawrence Cager (groin), running back Gary Brightwell (hamstring/IR), and defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence (hamstring). Defensive lineman Rkeem Nunez-Roches (knee) and tackle Evan Neal (ankle) have been declared out.
Hodgins was listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Eagles by the Giants because of an illness, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com, who also added the player to their Week 16 injury report.
Before the Giants reevaluate whether Hodgins will be ready to play against the Eagles on Monday, the player will try to relax and recuperate from his illness on Sunday. The 25-year-old wide receiver was a starter for the Giants at the end of the 2022 season, but after falling a few spots in the depth chart in 2023, he has only managed 17 receptions for 176 yards and three touchdowns on 28 targets during the first 14 games of the season in New York.
