Everything There Is To Know About The Vols Acquiring Chase Claypool For €550M…

Tarvos Alford, a linebacker from Vero Beach High School, is ranked as the No. 70 recruit in the 2025 class by 247Sports. On Friday afternoon, he narrowed his target list of universities to Florida, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee, and UCF. On March 30, Alford will make a commitment and select one of these programmes. Tennessee recently stopped by his school to see how he was doing. Regarding his meeting with Tennessee’s staff, Alford remarked, “all in all, it was great to speak with Coach [Josh] Heupel and Coach [Brian Jean-Mary] in person.” “Their pitch to me was that I needed to be a Vol and that I could help them as much as they could help me.”

After his brief stay with Tennessee, Alford was questioned about if the incident benefited Tennessee’s case and how much of an impact it would have on his recruitment going forward. “It undoubtedly raised their stock. The gifted linebacker said, “I think it’s special when the main man comes to visit you.” Additionally, he was questioned about his feelings towards Tennessee and their present recruiting status. The defensive star from Florida states, “At this stage of my recruitment, definitely a top school. They do, however, make me feel important because they communicate with me and make an effort to visit. I get a text from Coach Heupel practically every morning.

This staff is probably trying to convince him to visit Knoxville by getting him on campus, as he is starting to become more important. In response to the question of whether he planned to visit Tennessee, he only said, “I plan to get up there during spring.” Alford might be a crucial component of Tennessee’s eventual success and would be a tremendous complement to the already outstanding recruiting class. Alford appears to be a top target for this Tennessee recruiting team as time goes on.

Recently, Tennessee has targeted a number of pass catchers on the recruiting road, such as Braswell Thomas, a wide receiver from Lower Cape May Regional High School. Based on his stats of 6-2 and 185 pounds, Thomas is ranked No. 675 in the 2025 class by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He recently updated his recruiting with Volunteer Country, and the Volunteers have been after him for some time. “I’m obviously having success with my recruitment. I’m enjoying myself immensely as I attempt to maintain focus and continue my rigors training.” After making his introductory remarks, Thomas was questioned about the schools that most impressed him. “Yes, both Tennessee and Syracuse do. On my upcoming visits, maybe, I can garner some more positive attention,” the gifted 2025 potential said.
