With the 2024 recruiting class coming to an end, the Wolverines’ coaching staff is beginning to transition to the 2025 cycle. Four-star cornerback Jahmari DeLoatch from Virginia’s Oscar Smith High School is one of the top recruiting targets for Michigan football right now, although Bryce Underwood and other targets are still at the top of Jim Harbaugh’s 2025 want list.
Michigan football recruiting is getting closer to its primary goal.
Lately, Michigan football recruitment has been very successful. The Wolverines are on the verge of snagging a number of high-profile transfers, like Gatlin Bair, and they have even just stolen a target in Deyvid Palepale, who was targeted by the USC Trojans earlier this month.
It now seems that Michigan football is getting close to signing Jahmari DeLoatch, another elite prospect from the 2025 class.
Listed as the No. 210 player nationwide, the No. 26 cornerback in his class, and the No. 8 prospect in Virginia, DeLoatch is a Virginia-born, four-star cornerback for 247 Sports.
Insiders predict that in the 2025 recruiting class, the Wolverines will sign four-star cornerback Jahmari DeLoatch.
A fresh crystal ball was set on Sunday afternoon, and it indicates that Michigan football is the overwhelming favorite to sign Jahmari DeLoatch. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, he now has two crystal balls in favor of the Wolverines and a 99.3% chance of selecting Michigan.
With one four-star and two three-star commits, the 2025 Michigan football recruiting class is currently ranked No. 13 in the composite rankings. Jahmari DeLoatch would be the second four-star talent and second cornerback in the class for the Wolverines if he committed right away.
