During the Early Signing Day window, Michigan football signed 27 players. The Wolverines signed a number of important 2024 players who would eventually become well-known in Ann Arbor.
– Four-star QB Jadyn Davis
– Four-star TE Brady Prieskorn
– Four-star OT Blake Frazier
– Four-star LB Jeremiah Beasley
– Four-star ATH/S Jacob Oden
– Four-star OL Jake Guarnera
– Four-star EDGE Dominic Nichols
– Four-star LB Cole Sullivan
Eight of those athletes have reportedly reported to practice with the Michigan football team in Pasadena, per The Michigan Insider. They will assist the Wolverines in practice preparation prior to Michigan’s Rose Bowl matchup with Alabama.
While they won’t be playing any games while on this tour, all eight players should benefit from having practice with Michigan and will have a head start on understanding the playbook for the next season.
The most important component of this jigsaw may be quarterback Jadyn Davis, who will get a ton of experience playing against the best defense in the nation and coordinating with the Wolverines’ offense. We’re not sure if J.J. McCarthy will return to Michigan or join the NFL when this season ends. Davis will, however, have an opportunity to start as a true freshman if he chooses to join the NFL.
