This week, Tennessee lost a number of players via the transfer portal; none more significant than Tyler Baron, a senior defensive end.
After appearing headed for the NFL after his performance against Vanderbilt, Baron has decided that staying in college for one more season is the best course of action for his career.
Baron finished his career on Rocky Top with a respectable 28 tackles and six sacks. His 6′ 5 and 260-pound bulk allowed him to bully offensive linemen into the backfield, making him one of the most physical players on the football field every week. It should not take long for him to find a new home, as he should be in high demand in the portal.
