This week, Brockers announced the news on social media. After being cut by the Lions in February of last year, he had been a free agent.
Brockers played his first nine seasons with the NFC West team after the Rams selected him in the first round of the 2012 draft. After the 2019 season, he assisted the team in winning the NFC title, starting 136 of the 138 games throughout the regular season. He spent two seasons with Detroit, playing in 22 games after signing as a free agent with the Lions in 2021.
Over his career, Brockers recorded 451 tackles, 52 tackles for loss, 29 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
