Disagreements regarding a team’s draft selection will persist until the rookies on the field and demonstrate their abilities. It’s fantastic to see football-related activities going for the first time since January, but rookie minicamp doesn’t really matter.
The Dallas Cowboys’ four-prospect haul from the first two nights of the draft has been viewed as a mixed bag by fans of the 2024 class.
However, the consensus opinion thus far has been that they made a wise choice in selecting Marshawn Kneeland of Western Michigan with their second-round draft decision.
While several sites ranked Kneeland among the top 40 prospects, a few draftniks saw him as a fringe candidate at the end of the first round. As usual, a prospect’s initial landing spot in the league is nearly as significant as their base skill, and it seems like the Cowboys would be the ideal team for him.
