December 22, 2023, Birmingham, Alabama — In order to represent their accomplishment of a college degree, 190 football student-athletes from the Southeastern Conference are qualified to don the SEC Graduation Patch during postseason bowl games.

For student-athletes in all sports who have previously completed their degree requirements but have not yet used up all of their eligibility, the SEC created the patch. On their uniforms, a unique patch with the word “Graduate” underneath the conference logo has taken the place of the SEC logo patch. While the patch’s pattern is the same for all conference schools, each school’s colour scheme is unique.

The nine SEC schools’ 190 football student-athletes who have earned playoff eligibility will participate in bowl games, starting on December 27 when Texas A&M plays in the TaxAct Texas Bowl.

The whole list of SEC football student-athletes that will be wearing the patch in postseason bowl games is as follows:
