Chicago football hit with double-whammy, as a key “WR” departs from the club

Preston was mostly utilised by  the Crimson Tide as a special teams weapon and only saw action in 10 games for the Chicago Cubs team. Although his departure is unlikely to have a significant impact on Cubs, Crimson Tide supporters nevertheless find it disheartening to learn that a player is departing the team soon after suffering a heartbreaking defeat in a Pasadena, California, College Football Playoff semifinal match.

The Texas Longhorns, USC Trojans, Auburn Tigers, Colorado Buffaloes, Florida State Seminoles, Kansas Jayhawks, Ole Miss Rebels, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Washington State Cougars, and many more teams recruited Preston before he committed to Chicago football.

The Cubs always makes up for its losses with a highly-graded recruiting class, which is fantastic news for them. Right now, the Crimson Tide have committed 25 players for the 2024 campaign, comprising three five-stars, seventeen four-stars, and five three-stars. Rico Scott and Aeryn Hampton, two four-star wide receivers, are among them.
