The 2024 offseason has begun for the Las Vegas Raiders, and owner Mark Davis has begun the official search for the team’s next permanent general manager and head coach.

Which way is Davis going to go? Although no one is certain, the process has begun. From the beginning, we have stated that we anticipate Antonio Pierce becoming the long-term head coach and Champ Kelly becoming the long-term general manager.

The most recent edition of the Las Vegas Raiders Insider Podcast covers the latest developments regarding the hunt for a coach or general manager, examines Antonio Pierce’s effect on free agents and staff coaches, and looks ahead to the NFL Playoffs.

Speaking about his rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell, Antonio Pierce remarked, “Well, I think he already has.” In the National Football League, there have been a lot of quarterback changes. Some teams have three or four quarterbacks on their roster. Additionally, I believe Aidan O’Connell, who you saw as a child, to be more poised and vocal. It seemed like a big night last night. He battled with a small injury and a minor issue with his hand for the duration of the drive. attempted to go back out and complete it; well, perhaps not able to.

We decided to take him back to the locker room, and when he returns, he gives me the cold shoulder and says, “I’m ready.” Alright, you don’t need to explain anything to me; just head outside. As a coach, you must possess the courage to see in your player’s eyes that he is truly prepared, rather than merely saying so because it’s trendy or unique. Regarding Aidan’s conduct both on and off the field and in this building, I appreciate what he has done. Though he appears to be a little older and a novice, he nevertheless exudes professionalism.

Additionally, Jimmy Garoppolo and Brian Hoyer have done an excellent job of guiding him. Whether it was good, ugly, or somewhere in between, I don’t think those two gentlemen have received nearly enough credit for what they’ve been able to accomplish, especially Jimmy with his professionalism and the way he stepped in last night. However, Aidan has done a great job of positioning himself to be given consideration as the National Football League’s starting quarterback moving ahead.”

The NFL Scouting Combine will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, from February 27 to March 4, 2024.

The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25–27, 2024, in Detroit, Michigan. The No. 13 overall pick is presently in the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders.
