Calamity: Tennessee amiable coach dies at 50

Tennessee has extended an offer to Shekai Mills-Knight, a 2025 running back prospect from Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Baylor High School, a rising in-state prospect. After moving here from Canada this year, he made a big impression.

Schools including Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Cincinnati have extended offers to him. He recently accepted his offer to volunteer and took some time to talk with Volunteer Country.

The gifted running back states, “It means a lot, but I knew this day would come, so I won’t let it get over my head,” in reference to his Tennessee offer.

The work is not yet done. I’m eager to work this off-season and improve because I’m hungry for more.” “I came down here having a lot to prove because people in the states think Canadian football is soft and we don’t have ballers like that, so I knew I had to let them have it,” he adds in reference to his move from Canada to Tennessee.

I had to put in a lot of work, but having such a strong offensive line to cover players like Charlie Edgeworth, Dom Clifford, Owen Rose, Teag Johnson, and 3-star Jimmy Bryson was a huge help and allowed me to easily win the best football division in Tennessee.”
