Following a strong workout on Tuesday morning, Ezra Mam, the Broncos’ five-eighth, is getting ready for an intense matchup with Luke Keary.

Due to a finger injury, Mam was unable to participate in Brisbane’s victory over the Tigers, and head coach Kevin Walters expressed concerns about his availability for the matchup with the Sydney Roosters.

The 21-year-old, however, is ready to face opponent No. 6 Keary after finishing the most recent practice at Red Hill without the casualty ward bib.

Both guys are expected to be very emotional when they arrive at Suncorp Stadium, as Mam was at the center of the nasty racism issue during the two teams’ season opener in Las Vegas.

However, Broncos quarterback Adam Reynolds insisted they had “moved past it” and that the story would not serve as more motivation for the rematch.

He claimed that it was time for the future Maroons prospect to establish his dominance on a regular basis now that he and Mam had the opportunity to line up together once more, something they hadn’t done since the first half of the round five loss to Melbourne.
